Robin Bailey and Bob Gallagher will join the 97.3Fm breakfast team on Monday 23 October from 5.30am for Brisbane's new and fresh breakfast radio show.

'We have made this evolutionary change to Brisbane’s 973Fm to take advantage of Robin Bailey’s success base and high profile in radio,' said ARN General Manager, Peter Verhoeven.'Brisbane comedian Terry Hansen and former 4KQ announcer BBQ Bob will surround Robinto make this the best and most relevant breakfast show in this city,” he said.

“Another positive is that BBQ Bob arrives at 973Fm with a wealth of experience from his days at FM104, Triple M Sydney and most recently Classic Hits 4KQ.”


On Brisbane's Classic Hits 4KQ, Mark Hine joins the very successful 4KQ Breaky Team of Laurel Edwards and “Handy Gary” Clare from Monday 23 October. Mark arrives with a wealth of experience in the radio industry, most recently with 97.3Fm.

“We anticipate further changes on other breakfast radio shows in Brisbane in preparation for 2007. Today’s move by 973Fm and 4KQ is a strategic strike against our competitors to proactively re-energize Brisbane breakfast radio,' said Mr Verhoeven.
